As your Nebraska Cake Smash Photographer I will capture your baby as they smash some cake… and eat it too! The focus is all about your little one as they’re getting ready to hit the biggest milestone YET!
A cake smash session with Brenaya Faye Photography includes a backdrop that is fully custom to whatever theme you choose (No two sessions will be the same) or a simple plain solid backdrop cake smash option. We will meet either via phone call or zoom to plan the details.
The cake will be a vanilla naked cake with a topper that goes hand in hand with the theme/colors.
Your little one also has full access to the client closet for a monochromatic look.
If you are looking for a birthday session without a cake a milestone portrait session will be the option for you!
Cake Smash Session Collections begin at $525
Cake Smash Packages include everything needed for your little one: A naked vanilla cake* from a local baker, coordinating topper, session time from beginning to end, wardrobe use, and monochromatic milestone portraits before the cake smash.
There are two types of cake smash sessions, solid backdrop simple cake smash & themed cake smash.(These backdrops are hand made) Whichever your preference is.
*Cake is Only provided if your child has NO known allergies. No cake? No problem we can use any other food option.
What to expect before, during and after booking
Step 1 : Inquiry
Send an inquiry form below and I will reach out to you via email to discuss package options for the session type you are interested in.
Step 2 : Consultation
You want to hire a first birthday Lincoln cake smash photographer that executes exactly what you are looking for.
Once your creative fee is paid and your contract has been signed we will schedule your session date based on your little ones birthday. Typically for cake smash sessions, we will do their cake smash photoshoot when baby is between 10-11 months old. This is to ensure I get the final gallery to you before their big day! For all session types you will receive a pre-session questionnaire which will assist me in customizing your session to include a specific theme and/or colors. After your questionnaire has been completed you can entrust that I will capture everything we discussed just the way you envision.
Step 3 : The session
The big day is finally here! When you arrive to my private studio, as your first birthday photographer in Nebraska, I will have everything ready based off your questionnaire answers. You can just get ready to enjoy the craziness and mess! No need to supply anything, I have an array of infant/child clothing pieces for you to choose from. If you have a sentimental item that you would like to incorporate into your session you are more than to have it handy! We will start with baby nice and clean with the backdrop, this is the time that I will get to know your little one and play with them to get them familiar with me and my flashing light. Once baby is ready and comfortable, we will start snapping away and then introduce the cake.
Step 4 : ordering/gallery reveal appointment
The moment you’ve been waiting for! Within a week of your session date I will send you a watermarked proof gallery. You will choose only the images you absolutely LOVE and can’t live without to be edited. The image amount will depend on the package purchased. I will assist you with choosing and designing products if this is something your interested in to display in your home based off of your needs and wants as well as if you wanted any gift items for family and friends.
Step 5 : Delivery
Your gorgeous digital images are ready to go to their forever home within 2-3 weeks from when I receive your favorites back. Products will be ordered once editing is complete. I will reach out to you once your products have arrived and we will schedule a time for me to come hand deliver them to you! There is nothing more amazing than having tangible products which are now the focal points in your home for years to come.
