I'm delighted to have you here. My name is Brenaya, the owner of Brenaya Faye Photography and I specialize in newborn, maternity, baby milestone and cake smash photography. My studio, centrally located in Lincoln, Nebraska off of S 48th st and Meredeth St, is designed specifically for newborns, growing infants/children, and expecting mothers. I take pride in offering families a relaxed, all inclusive experience from start to finish.
My objective is straightforward: to capture beautiful photographs of you and your loved ones and provide you with heirloom products that you'll cherish forever.

What to expect before, during and after booking
Step 1 : Inquiry
Send an inquiry form below and I will reach out to you via email to discuss package options for the session type you are interested in.
Step 2 : Consultation
Once your session is secured, we will meet over a brief call to discuss your session vision and start to customize the sets and attire for your chosen session.
Step 3 : The session
We get to have fun together creating beautiful images with no rush to the session. When you arrive to the studio, the backdrop and wardrobe discussed in the consultation will be ready to go. Once you are fully ready with glam (if added on) we will begin your session. Our fully guided posing and seamless transitions will allow for a comfortable and stressless photo session.
Step 4 : ordering/gallery reveal appointment
The absolute best part! Within 1 week of your session, we go through your images together over zoom to make final selections of digital images and add on any heirloom products.
Step 5 : Delivery
Within 3-6 weeks of your gallery reveal/ordering appointment, your digital image gallery will be sent via a password protected online gallery for you download. land in your email for you to download! Your printed artwork will be ordered and delivered as soon as I receive them.

FAQ- Newborn Photography Session
Can siblings join in on the session?
They absolutely can! I do these photos towards the end of the session. So I ask if there are siblings that it is best if another parent is around to hang out with them while we are shooting baby by themselves or another parent/relative/friend bring them towards the end of the session when it is time for parent poses.
Newborn sessions take anywhere from 2.5-3 hours in length and little ones do not like to sit still for very long waiting for their turn to be photographed.
How old should my newborn be for photos?
Newborn portraits are best done within the first 3 weeks of your baby being born with the sweet spot being within the first 11-18 days following delivery. Your baby will be very sleepy still at this age and won't mind being posed in squishy newborn positions. After this age range babies tend to not be as sleepy and are more alert during their session; which can mean your newborn session could take a little longer.
When should you schedule your Newborn Session in Lincoln with Brenaya Faye Photography?
It's highly recommended to schedule your newborn photography session before your baby arrives.
If you want a guaranteed spot it's best to book at least 4 weeks to 3 months prior to your due date.
When booking your newborn photoshoot with me I will tentatively put your due date on my calendar and once you deliver we will schedule a firm date for the session within those first Three weeks of baby being born.
I only schedule a certain number of clients a month so be sure to secure early.
Do you provide digital images?
Yes, all packages include digital files. Although I do believe that your portraits do deserve to be displayed beyond digitally! The Raw/Un-edited images are not provided to client.
What should I wear for the family portion of the newborn session?
It's best to avoid bright colors and clothing with logos. Creams, neutrals, blacks and grays photograph beautifully and are very classic and timeless. I also love the look of textures/ simple patterns.
The shooting space will be kept nice and warm during the session (by a portable heater) to keep baby comfortable and cozy. So you will want to wear something light and then change into your clothes for the family portion when it is time.
I do have a client closet with dresses/gowns/ tops for mama and siblings if you wanted to wear something in the client closet.
Where do newborn sessions take place?
Specializing in Newborn Photography in Lincoln Nebraska, I aim to serve all clients in and around Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska areas. Your newborn photoshoot will take place in the comfort of your own home or at my private studio located at 4203 S 48th St. in Lincoln.
Newborn sessions are done on weekday mornings starting at 9-10am. Weekend availability is available for an additional fee.
I provide photography services in Lincoln and the neighboring areas of Omaha, Waverly, Walton, Grant, Ashland, Hickman, Eagle, Denton, Roca and Bennet.
I approach things a little differently than most photographers here in the area. Your families photography session doesn't have to stop with an online portfolio. I focus on telling your family's story and will help you through the process of creating unique, high-quality products to bring your memories to life. The options will include wall art to display in your home on your walls, heirloom fine art albums to gift or keep as a keepsake and digital images to share with family and friends.
